My first day in Taupo! and My third day in New Zealand! yea!

Interesting fact about Taupo, Taupo is the biggest lake in New Zealand.

I lived in Taupo Ikanui which is facing the lake for my next 7 days here.

Lake Taupo Harbour.

Time for interesting fact : Lake Taupo is almost as big as Singapore and it is the largest lake in New Zealand

and that is why there is harbour here.

Near to the harbour there is motor home parking bay. In New Zealand there is quite a lot of parking especially in tourist attraction places like Taupo itself.

We are so lucky that when we arrived at the harbour there is Saturday flea market was going on. The vendors are local vendors. Here some of the pictures there.

One thing that I was shocked when I had arrived there is that the New Zealanders are so friendly compared to englishs or americans or ausies. They always greets people who they met, doesn't matter if they knew them or not.

I continued my touring around Taupo. In New Zealand there is a lot of Scenic View stopping area where peoples can stop by to have a look for local scenic view and here public can come for picnics. Here some of the photos at scenic view stop at different places.

My next location is Huka Falls. It is free to enter.

Huka falls is located at Waikato river draining water from lake Taupo. Waikato river is the longest river in New Zealand which its length is more than 400 km. This river only produce 15% of total New Zealand electricity. The fall is so beautiful and any one who comes here should not miss this.

The water is so beautiful. The emerald colour.

Huka Honey Hive is a centre of honey in Taupo. The entrance is free.
There is a lot of type of honey being sold here from normal manuka honey to 20+ manuka honey evn Taupo honey and so on. The price is quite cheap compared to other place like Auckland and airport. You should buy some here especially the UMF 20+ manuka honey. It is not far from the Huka Falls just a few kilometres away.

If any one love to play game like in circus you may want to try this. It just besides the Huka Hive. I dont know how much the fees since I did not play it.

Next location for those who want to try to fishing prawn you can come to Huka Prawn Park. You will be charge per entry and you must eat the fished prawn at its own restaurant otherwise if want to take back home you will be charge extra.

This is one of the biggest attraction available in Huka Falls, HukaFalls Jet. It will cruise near to the Huka Falls at a high speed. The price is 100NZD per person. If you have enough money you might want to try this.
