Now come to my last day in Lake Taupo,
Targeting for free entry places.
Near the city centre (near to port, Infomation centre and public library) there is public Rose Garden.
For those who like roses very much might love to visit this garden.
I just realise there is another nature tourist spot besides Huka Falls, Taupo Botanical Garden, the lake itself,
The Aratiatia Rapid.
This site famous with it reservoir scenery.
Every two hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until 4 p.m. in summer
the reservoir will open its gate causing the rapid flooded with emerald water.
A nice place to go.
Rapids before flooded.
When the gate is opened
.
I can feel the strong wind blow the minute the gate is opened.
The gate is closed once more after flooding up the land.
The sunset view at Lake Taupo.
Lake Taupo beach.
The speciality of this place is the glow worm itself.
The worm has blue light.
The worm behaviour is almost like firefly.
They like swampy and dark area like cave with river stream at the bottom.
Waitomo is located at the 150km northwest of lake Taupo.
Since no photo is allowed here so all the picture is from internet.
The lights are so beautiful!
Going North ward stop by Hamilton for lunch.
Hamilton is the 4th largest city in New Zealand.
A lot of halal stall available here.
Having my take-away lunch in the Hamilton Garden while seeing the beautiful of Waikato river.
The scenery alongside of the road to Auckland.
New Zealand is full of cows and sheep.
It is every where you go.
To be continued...
